The Controversy Surrounding Saipul Jamil's Freedom from Prison, Acting Foolish and Seeking Forgiveness

Kapanlagi.com - Dangdut singer Saipul Jamil immediately started working in the entertainment industry after being released from prison. The ex-husband of Dewi Perssik is grateful to still be given sustenance despite his status as a former prisoner.

"Alhamdulillah, I am grateful. As soon as I finished my problems, I was immediately given sustenance. Alhamdulillah, I am grateful," he said when met in the Mampang area, South Jakarta, on Friday (3/9).

In addition, his freedom has garnered pros and cons on social media. The 41-year-old man doesn't care and lets netizens have their opinions about him.

"Actually, there were pros and cons in the past, but I didn't care. So if people want to indirectly criticize me, I just let it be. I know, there are people who don't like me," he said.

"In fact, I think it's not just me who is disliked. Other artists might also have haters. But for me, I don't really care. Let them not like me. Who knows, maybe those who don't like me will eventually fall in love, and those who love me will love me even more," Saipul Jamil added.

Saipul Jamil also emphasized that the harsh comments he receives will not hinder him from rising up and starting a new chapter in his life after experiencing the breath of freedom.

"No, it doesn't (hinder me). Sometimes, when I read haters' comments, it's just temporary. Oh, so there are people like that. I usually seek forgiveness, then say 'in the name of Allah', and continue on my path," he explained.

On the other hand, Saipul's freedom also brings sadness to the hearts of fellow inmates who have become close to Saipul. Even when he was released, his fellow inmates cried to bid him farewell.

"They really miss me, that's why they're sad. I told them to just pray, hopefully, I'll be healthy, successful, and blessed, and I'll share my blessings with them," concluded Saipul Jamil.
