Reza Zakarya, also known as Reza DA, is a dangdut singer who graduated from D'Academy season 2. He successfully became the fourth champion in the dangdut talent search event. His name started to be known by the public when he participated in D'Academy. Since he was a teenager, Reza has had a lot of achievements. He won the 3rd place in the Festival Pop Dangdut at the Surabaya City level. He continued to do so until he was in college. Reza was born with an extra thumb on his left hand. Initially, Reza didn't care about it. However, his thumb became a subject of ridicule for people. "My thumb is like this, back then in school, it became a subject for them to bully me. Finally, my late grandmother was afraid that when I grew up, I would be ashamed of it, so it was removed and there are still stitches left," said Reza, telling one of his life stories in a podcast with Gilang Dirga on YouTube while showing his thumb.

Reza DA once went through ta'aruf with a woman named Valda Alviana. It turns out that Valda is one of Reza's fans. On January 17, 2021, they decided to get married. However, their relationship finally ended on September 14, 2021. Reza and Valda's relationship, which lasted only 4 months, made netizens wonder. Reza revealed that he was the one who filed for divorce at that time. However, Reza did not give a reason why he had to divorce Valda.
