This Online Audition Participant of D'Academy 5 Reveals Having Received Clothes from Lesti, Promises to Wear Them If Passed!

Kapanlagi.com - After being absent for five years and last held in 2017, Dangdut Academy (D'Academy) 5 is finally held in 2022. One of the biggest talent search events in the country is always eagerly awaited by Indonesian dangdut music lovers.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Indosiar is holding online auditions that have been open since February 7th until March 31st.

Unlike before, D'Academy 5 has no residency restrictions. So participants from Sabang to Merauke can participate in this audition.

Furthermore, what is interesting is that D'Academy alumni are also involved as judges during the auditions. Like today, Tuesday (15/2), Fildan is present as one of the judges.

1. Fildan Happy to be a Judge

Fildan admits that he is very happy to be a judge for the online auditions of D'Academy 5. The champion of D'Academy 4 is also looking forward to meeting the audition participants and the emergence of new dangdut singers.

"It's definitely very exciting, Fildan thanks Indosiar for being an online judge. Who will advance, who will pass, it's great to have many dangdut talents to come," said Fildan during a virtual interview, Tuesday (15/2).

2. This Contestant Idolizes Lesti

After participating in the audition, some contestants had a chat with the media. They shared their experiences during the online audition and their goals in joining D'Academy 5.

One of them is Jannah, who comes from Situbondo, East Java. The 23-year-old girl admitted that she started liking dangdut music after hearing Lesti's voice. She was inspired to become a dangdut singer like Lesti.

"Jannah initially liked pop music. In 9th grade, there was a teacher who said Jannah resembled Lesti. At first, I didn't know Lesti, didn't know dangdut. But then I started listening to Lesti's songs and started liking dangdut. Seeing Lesti inspired me. I want to participate in the audition because I aspire to become a dangdut singer like Lesti and also to improve my family's economy," Jannah explained.

3. Received Clothes from Lesti

Jannah also told that she once received clothes as a gift from Lesti. Because she is indeed a Lesti Lovers (Lesti's fans' name) who always attends whenever Lesti comes to East Java. Jannah, who also likes to sing from stage to stage, promised to wear clothes from Lesti when she passes the audition.

“Jannah happened to be a Lesti Lovers in East Java, so every time dede (Lesti) has a concert in East Java, she always attends as a dancing troop,” said Jannah.

“Jannah once sang wearing very revealing clothes like a singer, and then dede's father commented that next time when singing, the clothes should not be revealing anymore. If Lesti gives clothes, do you want them? I really want them, so they will be sent by dede. I will wear the clothes if I pass,” she concluded.
