"It's really unique, it's Javanese traditional, because I am Javanese. So when I turned 30, I had to remember my true self. So now, we have to remember who we were, where we came from, who made us successful, supported us until now. That's the meaning, to be more self-aware," said Oza when met at Lara Djonggrang, Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Friday (8/4/2024).

Not only the Javanese concept, but the place chosen by Oza to celebrate his birthday also strongly embraces traditional values. "Yes, it's my own idea. I really want it to be unique, that's why I chose a venue with an antique Javanese theme," said Oza.

At his birthday party, Oza looked beautiful and stunning wearing a green kebaya. Oza explained that the kebaya was made in a short time. "It's according to the concept, this dress was made in just one day and one night. There was a problem, the dress I was supposed to wear couldn't be worn, so this one was made yesterday afternoon," he explained.

Because it's in line with the theme, the invited guests were required to wear traditional Javanese attire. "Yes. So the guests also had a Javanese traditional theme. They could wear batik or kebaya in the style of a kretek girl, so I invited my friends. There's Uci, Wika, Pamela Safitri, my bestie, Bella Nova, and many others that I invited," Oza revealed.

The 30th birthday is very special for Oza. After taking a break to focus on taking care of her beloved child, she will now return to enliven the Indonesian music industry. "This 30-year-old age is a turning point for me. Previously, I focused on taking care of my child, but after two years, I can pursue a career in the music world again," she said.

Oza also revealed that she has prepared a new single titled 'Redam'. This song is very different from her previous works because Oza has left her identity as a dangdut singer and switched to the pop music genre.

"Actually, there is no problem why, but since the beginning, I have always loved singing pop, jazz, or anything, I just love singing. But the destiny is in dangdut, like that. After getting married, I think I want something different, I want to be more myself," concluded Oza.
