Ungu, Selfi Yamma, and Rara LIDA Collaborate Across Generations

The same goes for Selfi Yamma, since winning the Champion 1 of Liga Dangdut Indonesia 2018, Selfi has attracted sympathy from many people through her distinctive dangdut style and the name Selfitta fanbase was formed to accommodate Selfi's fans throughout Indonesia and neighboring countries. The same thing happened with Rara LIDA who at that time was in the runner-up position in Liga Dangdut Indonesia 2018. Rara's fans grew bigger, because Rara was not only known as a multi-genre singer, but also a multi-talented artist.

Together with 3D Entertainment and STREAM Entertainment, Ungu, Selfi Yamma, and Rara LIDA released a recycled single by Ungu which was previously popular, entitled Dengan NafasMu, on March 28, 2022 on all Digital Streaming Platforms, such as Apple Music, Spotify, Joox, Langit Musik, Resso, YouTube Music, and Instagram Reels. The early release was marked by the availability of a 60-second version of the song Dengan NafasMu on TikTok on March 23, 2022.

The song Dengan NafasMu is a religious song about a person's expression of repentance and deep gratitude to God the Almighty Creator. "What makes you grateful, I often ask that on stage, there are many different answers, but no one answers Breath. Even though when God stops breathing, everything will stop, right? So, we want to remind you that we often forget to be grateful for things that are invisible," explained Pasha.

Ungu is a band from 1996, while Selfi and Rara just started their careers in 2018. This cross-generational and genre music collaboration offers something new. “I'm nervous and at the same time it's a challenge for me, because UNGU is a band that is already well-known and I also idolize them, now we can collaborate. I hope to introduce dangdut music with this genre collaboration,” said Selfi.

“This song has been famous for a long time, and it is our responsibility to be able to perform Dengan NafasMu even better, especially since the moral message of this song is about the relationship between humans and God,” added Rara.
