Via Vallen Remembers the Moment of Visiting Palestine, Hearing Gunshots Around the Hotel

One of those who feels sad seeing the suffering of the Palestinian people is dangdut singer Via Vallen who apparently has visited there. While uploading a video of the atmosphere in Palestine, Via tells her unforgettable experience when visiting the country.

"I once spent a few days in Palestine. Almost every day the atmosphere felt tense. From the moment we were about to enter Palestine, we were not allowed to say that we were going to Palestine, we had to say that we were going to Jerusalem (because it was risky to be sent back to Jordan). By chance, I brought the Quran from Medina to be distributed to the children there. But it felt like smuggling forbidden goods," Via wrote.

1. Experience the Tense Atmosphere

Upon arriving in Palestine, Via admitted that she felt uneasy. The atmosphere there is very quiet and tense. Even going to Al Aqsa Mosque feels like being constantly watched. Not only that, Via also heard gunshots.

"When I arrived in Palestine, every night the atmosphere was very quiet. I could hear gunshots around the hotel. Even praying at Al Aqsa Mosque was terrifying because I had to pass through Israeli soldiers around the mosque," explained Via.

2. Praying for the Conflict to End

Although Via was only in Palestine for a few days, she already felt very uncomfortable with the tense atmosphere. Therefore, she couldn't imagine how the native people there have been feeling all this time.

"I only experienced this tense atmosphere for a few days, let alone those who have been experiencing it for decades. Oh Allah, end their suffering soon," she concluded, which was immediately agreed upon by Via's followers.
