"At first (I aspired to be) a pilot, now I am a singer because my dad told me to," said Saka, Didi Kempot's son when met at Trans TV, South Jakarta, Monday (29/9/2020).

1. Visited Through a Dream

Didi Kempot's request to his eldest son turned out to come in the form of a dream. After being met by his father, Saka himself expressed his desire to become a singer to Yan Vellia.

"As a parent, I leave it to Saka. But Saka said it was dreamed by his father, and he was determined to continue. So it was in a dream," said Yan Vellia.

2. Message from the Late Father

Saka admitted that his father entrusted him with a message to become a singer not just once. It was this message from his late father that strengthened his determination to pursue the same path, namely in the world of singing.

"The first one, 'Come on, move forward,'" said Saka.

"Yes. After that, 'Come on, sing until it's finished,'" he added.

3. Still Mourning

Dreaming of the late Didi Kempot is a touching and heartbreaking experience. However, Yan Vellia herself sees this as a strength to continue her life after being left by Didi Kempot.

"Until the last time he was about to release his first single, early in the morning he was very emotional and made us sad. Because he woke up crying, 'Miss you, dad,' because of his dream of his father. Always present in our dreams, strengthening us," she said.
