Wika Salim Chooses to Celebrate Birthday Simply, Invites Family to Gather and Eat Together

"Thank God for the birthday, even though the age increases, the time in this world decreases. I'm happy because thank God, the birthday is healthy and I can gather with family and friends," said Wika in South Jakarta on Thursday (27/2).

At her current age, Wika admitted that she has become a more mature person. She also thinks more about the future. "For me, I'm grateful, I'm 28 years old now, more mature and more focused on arranging my life for the future," continued Wika.

1. Gathering with Close People

Unlike a series of celebrities who throw extravagant parties and invite many people, Wika prefers to enjoy a simple celebration with her family and close friends.

"Because it's my birthday, it's just with family and friends. So, not many people know," she said.

2. No Special Tradition

The artist, who was rumored to be close to Gofar Hilman and Chand Kelvin, said that there is no special tradition in her family regarding birthday celebrations.

"Actually, in my family, we're not the type of people who celebrate birthdays every year. Like yesterday, we just had a meal together. We gathered as a family, parents, siblings, cousins, and friends. We never celebrate in a strange way," explained Wika.

3. Special Figure

Unfortunately, in yesterday's special moment, there was no special figure accompanying Wika Salim. "There was none. So yesterday was really just a family event. Just celebrating a birthday with the family, gathering, eating," said the short-haired woman.

Wika seems not to be in a hurry to have a partner. "I just go with the flow. I mean, now it's like not too focused on a partner. But more like focusing on what's in front of me, like work," she concluded.
