The beauty pageant to compete for the title of Miss Universe 2020 finally took place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Hollywood, Florida, on Sunday (16/5) last week. This is Andrea Meza, the representative from Mexico who brought home the title and crown of Miss Universe 2020.
This 26-year-old beautiful woman successfully defeated 74 other contestants from various countries around the world, including Indonesia.
After competing with Miss Brazil, Dominican Republic, India, and Peru in the top 5, Andrea was finally crowned as Miss Universe and received the tiara from Miss Universe 2019, Zozibini Tunzi.
Not only beautiful, Andrea is also known as an intelligent programmer graduate from Autonomous University of Chihuahua, Mexico.
In her daily life, Andrea is also actively involved in various social activities focusing on women's rights.
Before participating in the Miss Universe competition, she was busy with her work at the Municipal Institute for Women, which aims to fight violence against women.
Born in Mexico, Andrea has Chinese ancestry in her family.
Although her life is closely connected to the modeling world, Andrea has a hobby that is quite extreme and enjoys taking on challenges in the great outdoors.
Before becoming Miss Universe, she was first known as the winner of Mexicana Universal 2020, Miss Mexico 2017, and the first runner-up of Miss World 2017.
