Ricky Martin and his husband, Jwan Yosef, have decided to get a divorce after 6 years of same-sex marriage.
This unexpected news was directly conveyed by them through their latest post on their Instagram account on Thursday (6/7) yesterday.
"We have been trying to improve our relationship for some time, and after careful consideration, we have decided to end our marriage with love, respect, and dignity for our children. We appreciate what we have gone through as a couple, during these extraordinary years," Ricky wrote in his post.
Furthermore, he added, "Our biggest desire at this time is to continue building a healthy family and a relationship focused on our children, to raise them together, and to remain good friends."
This news certainly shocked the public, especially the fans who have supported their relationship for years.
Although they have announced their divorce, both Ricky and Jwan still have a series of photos of their memories together.
