Blue Ivy will voice the character Kiara, the daughter of Simba and Nala, portrayed by her mother. The film will be directed by Barry Jenkins, who previously had success with the film MOONLIGHT. MUFASA: THE LION KING will explore the origin of Mufasa and his childhood story with his brother named Scar.
