The brands that initially promoted their event by claiming to participate in Paris Fashion Week (PFW) 2022, have now changed their captions to use Paris Fashion Show and similar terms. However, apparently there are still a number of celebrities who still use the PFW hashtag in their socmed posts.

Successfully going viral and making many people angry, especially the Indonesian public, this issue has apparently reached the ears of PFW. Through their official Instagram account, Paris Fashion Week issued a warning.

"BEWARE OF IDENTITY THEFT. False communication and job offers in the name of Federation de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM) and its current Executive President are circulating. This claim offers a permanent contract for the « Egeriam » agency, alleged creative agency of the Federation. They are mainly conveyed by Charlotte Seguin and Violene La Borde's profiles on social media (LinkedIn, Facebook.)," wrote PFW via their Insta Story.

"Federation de la Haute Couture et de la Mode and its Executive President have no connection whatsoever with these profiles, whose authenticity is questioned. If there is any request from Egeriam agency or Violene Laborde and Charlotte Seguin, we recommend not to continue the conversation and to keep informing us," added PFW.

2. PFW Reports to the Police

As a final word, PFW even admitted to having brought this matter to the authorities, "A complaint has been filed with the police."

The warning from the official PFW account quickly caught the attention of the public, especially Indonesian netizens. The screenshot of PFW's story reporting this case to the police immediately became a hot topic on social media.

Wanda Hamidah, who has been vocal since the beginning of this issue, also reposted the official Paris Fashion Week account's story. She also issued a warning to the parties involved.
