Kapanlagi.com - In an exclusive interview with Collider, Destin Daniel Cretton explained that he wants to present a Spider-Man story that feels more personal than previous films. According to him, Peter Parker has now entered a new phase of life after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, making the challenges he faces more mature and emotional.
Cretton also revealed that he studied various versions of Spider-Man, including classic comics and Marvel's Spider-Man game by Insomniac Games. This inspiration was used to create action scenes that remain spectacular while maintaining the distinctive feel of the character Spider-Man as a street hero in New York.

Destin Daniel Cretton explains that this film is set about four years after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Peter Parker is no longer a school teenager, but rather a young man who must face various life issues without the support of those closest to him who have forgotten his identity.
According to Cretton, this change in life phase becomes the main foundation of the story. He wants to portray Peter as someone who continues to try to do the right thing even while shouldering responsibilities alone.

In the film's development process, Cretton admitted to studying many references, ranging from Spider-Man comics to Marvel's Spider-Man game created by Insomniac Games. He even revealed that some of the acrobatic moves in the film were inspired by experiences found while playing the game.
This approach aims to present action that feels dynamic while remaining true to the character of Spider-Man. The result is expected to satisfy both long-time fans and new viewers who know Spider-Man through gaming media.
