The list of nominations for the Oscar 2026 has been released. Behind the excitement of SINNERS sweeping nominations, there is an interesting story about Elle Fanning. Despite her track record of being in Hollywood since she was a child, this is her first Oscar nomination.
The younger sister of Dakota Fanning made her film debut in I AM SAM (2001) alongside her sister. Since then, she has explored acting in various film genres. My mother, grandmother, brother, and aunt are with me this morning. We are shouting together, hugging, and crying," she said. In this film, she plays an actress named Rachel Kemp.
Due to her admiration for director Gustav Borg (Stellan Skarsgard), Rachel then enters the emotional whirlpool of the famous director's family drama with his two daughters.
