Indeed, all characters in the Barbie World have the same names, Barbie for females and Ken for males, except for Ken's brother, Allan. However, in this story, Ken's (Ryan Gosling) love is unrequited. LA LA LAND (2016) A musical drama film that tells the story of Mia (Emma Stone) and Sebastian (Ryan Gosling) who meet at a party of Mia's friend. Their meeting is the beginning of a very sweet romance story. Mia dreams of becoming an actress and Sebastian wants to have his own jazz club. They realize that achieving their dreams is not easy and will take a long time. Their relationship is on the verge of doubt and ends up separating, not knowing when they will reunite. Then, several years later, Sebastian's jazz club is officially opened. However, Mia is already married and even has a child with someone else. Knowing this, Sebastian feels completely empty and gracefully plays the piano in front of his ex-girlfriend.

THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES (2012) tells the story of Luke (Ryan Gosling) who becomes a stuntman (a person who performs motorcycle stunts in a carnival). This requires him to travel to various places. DRIVE (2011) Ryan Gosling in this film does not have a clear name. He is just a driver, just like THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES as a stuntman. In the story, this driver loves his neighbor, Irene (Carey Mulligan), a widow who has one child. This driver has a side job as a gateway driver where he helps criminals drive during their criminal activities. In short, Irene's husband owes money to criminals and thugs. So when he is released from prison, he will be hunted by thugs and threaten his family, including Irene. The driver does not stay silent, he takes action to save Irene solely out of love. But the driver's identity will be revealed, in panic, he will kill all the thugs and say goodbye to Irene. In the ending, the driver is severely injured with the car he was driving and takes all the stolen money. Of course, Irene is left behind for her safety.

Although in the end, everyone accepts Bianca as if she were a human being, she is still just a lifeless plastic doll.

THE NOTEBOOK (2004) can be said that this film is a love story between the rich and the poor. Starting from a grandfather who tells the romantic story of a young man to an old grandmother. Noah (Ryan Gosling) is a young man who has a simple life and meets Allie (Rachel McAdams) from a wealthy family. Allie's parents strongly oppose their relationship, causing them to argue and their relationship to end. One morning, Allie's family moves from the city without saying goodbye to Noah. Noah writes a letter to Allie for a whole year and never gets a reply. In the ending, it is explained that Allie (an old woman with dementia) and all their youthful stories are the love story with Noah, who has become a grandfather. Knowing the truth about their love, they sleep in a hospital room and die.
