Tyron Lakent Woodley, or more commonly known as Tyron Woodley, is an MMA fighter who has shined in the highest level of this sport, the UFC. Through the organization, he has obtained the welterweight champion title 5 times. He achieved these titles by defeating Stephen Wonderboy Thompson, Darren Till, Robbie Lawler, and Demian Maia.
However, his career as the welterweight champion, which earned him the nickname The Chosen One, had to come to an end when he faced the Nigerian Nightmare Kamaru Usman. In UFC 235, he lost through a unanimous decision against the challenger. After losing the welterweight throne, he suffered consecutive defeats against Gilbert Burns and Colby Covington.
