Officially Leaving Royal Duties, Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Bid Farewell on Instagram

Shortly after moving to Canada and now in Los Angeles, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have faced demands from the British public and media. They are expected to soon relinquish their titles as Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

After waiting for some time, the British Royal Family has finally made this official. As of Thursday (30/3), Meghan and Harry are no longer referred to as Sussex Royal.

Because of that decision, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also lost the power to hold the Sussex Royal Instagram account. That's why they posted a farewell message that managed to stir up social media.

"Thank you to this community. For all the support, inspiration, and shared commitment for the good of the world. Harry & Meghan," that's the content of their last post on Instagram.

2. Farewell Greetings from Meghan & Harry

Not only did they stop there, this couple also wrote a farewell greeting in the caption column. They started with concern for the coronavirus pandemic or COVID-19.

"We will contribute to global change and this habit, and then we will focus on being able to provide the best contribution (to fight the coronavirus). When you can't see us here (Instagram), our projects will continue," they wrote.

They also added, "We will rejoin you as soon as possible. You are amazing! Until that time comes, take care of yourselves and others. Harry and Meghan."
