Who doesn't know Princess Leonor of the Kingdom of Spain? The youngest heir to the throne in Europe is now taking on greater responsibilities on her birthday. On October 31, the Princess of Asturias read her oath to the Spanish constitution.
"I swear to carry out my duties faithfully, to ensure that the Constitution and the laws are complied with, to respect the rights of citizens and the Autonomous Communities, and loyalty to the King," Leonor quoted from People on Wednesday (11/1/2023).
The oath she read was then accepted by Francina Armengol, president of the Cortes Generales. She responded, "The Cortes Generales has just received the oath taken by Her Highness, in accordance with the Constitution, as the Crown Princess."”
