This decision was announced on December 21, 2024, marking a significant change in her life after years of a career as a sex icon and actress.
Anderson, who is widely known for her role in the television series Baywatch, now chooses to live a simpler life close to nature. "I am in my garden on Vancouver Island, making pickles," she said in an interview with Mikey Madison for Variety's Actors on Actors.
She revealed that her decision was driven by a desire to find peace and a new purpose in her life.
"I came home to remember who I am. I started to get bored playing different characters, even in my personal life. That was the moment when I decided to take off the makeup and start getting my hands dirty in the garden," she said.
By retiring from the glamorous world, Pamela Anderson shows that true happiness can be found in unexpected places, far from the public spotlight.
"I feel like this is coming home. To truly see my life and remember who I am, not what others say about me," she expressed.
