Insiders have leaked that they have been seen being 'close' since they both starred in SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING in 2017. Along with the rumors of the 'Tomdaya' couple that have been circulating among fans.

Outside of filming activities, they also have a closeness that goes beyond just being friends. They often meet up and even go on vacations together without the public's knowledge.

"They started getting close while filming Spider-Man," said an insider in July 2017, as reported by People.com.

"They are very careful in keeping it a secret and not being seen by the public, but they have gone on vacations together and try to spend as much time together as possible," they added.

The compatibility between Tom Holland and Zendaya can be seen from various aspects, one of which is their sense of humor. It is said that Tom Holland and Zendaya have very similar sense of humor and enjoy joking together, even in dismissing dating rumors.

Shortly after the news of them dating in 2017, Zendaya seemed to dismiss the speculation of her special relationship with Tom Holland through a tweet on Twitter.

"My favorite thing is when we are said to go on vacation together HA! I haven't been on vacation for a long time. How about you @TomHolland1996 ???" Zendaya tweeted while tagging Tom Holland's account.

In August of the same year, Zendaya again confirmed that she and Tom Holland do not have a romantic relationship. She revealed that the relationship between them is only as close friends who are in the same working environment.

"He is truly one of my best friends. We have been doing press tours together for the past few months. There are very few people who understand what it feels like (to be busy with a lot of activities as an actor) at the age of 20," she said to Variety.

After being caught kissing intimately in a car, many speculate that they are officially dating. However, representatives of both actors have not yet commented on the relationship status of Tom Holland and Zendaya.
