Saldana stated that she feels uncomfortable with the hours spent in the makeup chair, which can take up to three to four hours each day.   "I am very concerned about the chemicals and things you put into our system (skin) for a long time, because we are shooting this film over a period of five months. But I love science fiction," she expressed, as reported by Variety.

In addition, Saldana also expressed regret regarding her performance in the Avengers film. In an interview, she stated her desire to return and re-record some scenes involving the character Gamora.

"I wish I could go back and re-record what Gamora experienced in the 'Avengers' film. I didn't quite understand what the Russo Brothers were doing. They are great filmmakers, and the opportunity they gave me was a once-in-a-lifetime chance. Highlighting Gamora in such a way in their film is something I will always be grateful for," she explained.

Saldana also stated that she wants to delve deeper into the relationship between Gamora and her father, Thanos. She considers this relationship a key element that could be further explored and feels that she did not fully realize its emotional potential at the time of filming.

"I hope I can come back and do it again so I can try harder because this is a really great opportunity to play a princess who has issues with her father or not," concluded the 46-year-old actress.

"Does she have a chance to reconcile or just walk away? It would be a great opportunity if I were more aware of it," she continued.
