Acting in a Movie with Angga Yunanda, Shenina Cinnamon Admits Being Hated by People

One of the impacts of the film's release is that Shenina is hated by the audience. This is because in the big screen production of Screenmedia Films, she was chosen to play the antagonist character.

"I'm really happy because the film received a lot of responses. One of them is that many people hate my character. But I'm actually happy that the audience is affected by the evil things I do. I feel like our work is appreciated," Shenina said in a press conference via Zoom on Thursday (10/12/2020).

1. Not Like the Role Played

Furthermore, Shenina Cinnamon explains that the character Marsya in the movie DI BAWAH UMUR is very different from her. However, she dared to take on the role because she had never played it before.

"Marsya's character is very arrogant, pretending to be beautiful, and fierce. And that's not me, personally I'm not like Marsya. I have never played a character like this before, then when offered, and seeing the other actors who are really cool, I immediately said 'Oh, okay'," explained the former girlfriend of Jefri Nichol.

2. Experience of Being Confronted

To portray Marsya's character as a high school student who feels the most beautiful and powerful, Shenina Cinnamon learns from her past. It turns out she once had an experience of being confronted by someone during school, which turned out to be useful in developing the character.

"I used to be confronted like that in middle school and high school. So when I had to portray it, I imagined how it was. Back then, if someone pulled my hair, I would just let it happen. I also told Yoriko that if she wanted to slap, just slap without holding back. Because sometimes the emotions are strong but holding back physically," said the actress who is rumored to be dating Angga Yunanda.
