Kapanlagi.com - The world of Indonesian horror cinema is once again enlivened by the presence of the latest film titled ASRAMA PUTRI. Two of its actors, Dea Annisa and Samuel Rizal, shared their experiences during the shooting process. This film produced by Purasadhana promises tension for its viewers through characters with strong backgrounds.
Dea Annisa herself is cast to play a character named Gwen. As one of the central figures, Dea must embody the role of a student who is curious about the mysteries surrounding her residence. The character Gwen serves as a bridge for the audience to uncover various oddities occurring within the dormitory.
"I play a student who is trying to find out what is really happening in this dormitory? What’s going on? Why are there so many disturbances?" said Dea Annisa at Epicentrum XXI, South Jakarta, Friday (13/2/2026).

Not only does she have to understand the character, but this beautiful actress also admits to facing many challenges during the production process. She revealed that the scenes in this horror film require significant physical and emotional effort.
Dea feels that the support from the entire team and fellow actors is the main factor in the success of the rather heavy shooting process.
"The difficulties of this film are actually many; for those who have watched, there are many scenes that are really hard to execute," she said.
On the other hand, senior actor Samuel Rizal also brings a unique color to this film through his role as Lazuardi. Samuel explains that his character will take the audience's emotions on a rollercoaster ride throughout the story. He has to play a role that is full of puzzles, so the audience will keep guessing until the end of the film.
"So, Lazuardi, whom you watch from the beginning to 3/4 of the film, has emotions that are played in various ways, up and down," said Samuel Rizal.
"In essence, this tells the strange events that really happened to the female students there. We reveal the mystical side while also raising social issues that are close to dormitory life," added Dea Annisa.
The film 'Dormitory Girls,' produced by Puras Production and directed by Wisnu Kuncoro, will premiere on February 19, 2026, in theaters across Indonesia. In addition to Dea Annisa and Samuel Rizal, the film also stars Mawar Butterfly, Monique Henry, Nadya Ulya as Loly, and Surya Rangga.
