Rano Karno along with Cornelia Agatha and Maudy Koesnaedi have just released the trailer and poster for SI DOEL THE MOVIE 2. The film, which continues the story of Doel, Sarah, and Zaenab, has finished filming and is ready to be released on the occasion of Eid 2019. What are some interesting aspects of this sequel?

Maudy, also known as Zaenab, had a different experience. The film focuses more on her, requiring Maudy to play with her emotions. "I felt overwhelmed during the second filming. I was very restless, it felt like... you know, like that, very overwhelmed," Maudy concluded.
Cornelia Agatha alias Sarah admits to receiving support from her children. "They are very supportive. They give me small notes with phrases written on them and stick them everywhere, 'hopefully one day mama will win best actress' oh I'm touched, it's so cute," said Cornelia.
"It's impossible for Si Doel to just end like this. Each character must have their own development. Atun has a child with Mas Karyo, what's their name again. Doel also has a child who will grow up. Will we continue to work together, well, that's it hahaha," said Rano.
There are plans for Rano to develop the story of Si Doel into a trilogy film.
Still the same as the first film, this film was shot in the Netherlands and Indonesia. However, this time there were more shots in Indonesia compared to the Netherlands.
This film was produced in collaboration between Falcon Pictures and Karnos Film. The poster release event was held at Rano Karno's house in Karang Tengah, South Jakarta on Wednesday (27/3).
The main cast of the Si Doel Anak Sekolahan series also appeared in this film. Of course, they present a story that is suitable for the current conditions.
