Experience the First Kiss Scene with Mpok Hindun, Randy Danistha Admits Not Feeling Awkward

Kapanlagi.com - Randy Danistha apparently had an unforgettable experience in his career in the Indonesian film industry. In the latest series airing on Comika.id on June 9, 2023, titled Name For A Band, Randy apparently had to play a unique and magical character.

The character he played in the series had no dialogue at all and didn't even have a name. Not only that, in Name For A Band, Randy also had to act alongside Tuti Maria Glenmore, who is known for her role as Mpok Hindun in the sitcom Bajaj Bajuri.

Mpok Hindun herself played the role of a middle-aged woman who dressed like a child and was the girlfriend of the character played by Randy. In the role they played, there was a tantalizing scene where Randy had to be intimate with Mpok Hindun.

Not only being intimate, but in one scene Randy had to kiss Mpok Hindun.

"I didn't expect to be able to work together. I used to watch Bajaj Bajuri and now suddenly we're working together. From eating pizza and then getting (kissed), then having to struggle on the bed, it was funny," said Randy Danistha when met at the Comika headquarters in South Jakarta, Monday (5/6).

During his career in the film industry, Randy admitted that he wanted to have a kissing scene with his co-star. He even told his wife about it and how he would feel if he got the scene.

"When I told my wife that I got a kissing scene with Mpok Hindun, I prayed that it would happen. Because I asked her if it was okay to have a kissing scene in a film and she said yes, if it's necessary for the role. And it turns out I got the kissing scene with Mpok Hindun," he said.

Furthermore, when filming the scene, Randy said that there was no awkwardness between him and Mpok Hindun. He even said that when they were filming, Mpok Hindun herself became annoyed.

"It was exciting and challenging to kiss Mpok Hindun, and I was sweating. Mpok Hindun said it was okay, and she was also annoyed," he concluded.
