Feeling a Connection with the Character Awan in the Movie NKCTHI, Rachel Amanda Had Difficulty Because of This

Kapanlagi.com - Rachel Amanda plays the character 'Awan' who is the main character in the latest film directed by Angga Dwimas Sasongko, NANTI KITA CERITA TENTANG HARI INI or 'NKCTHI'. Awan is the youngest of three siblings, the younger brother of Angkasa played by Rio Dewanto and Aurora played by Sheila Dara Aisha.

"She (Awan) is a graduate of architecture and currently an intern at an architectural company. She is ambitious, a special child in the family," said Rachel Amanda when met in the Pasar Minggu area, South Jakarta, not long ago.

Rachel Amanda admitted that she initially felt comfortable with the character of Awan, the main character. This is because Awan has similarities with her, both being ambitious. However, because she is the eldest child in the real world, she had to get used to being the youngest in the movie NKCTHI.

"At first, Awan was comfortable with it. Eventually, I talked to my close friend who happens to be the youngest child and the same age as me, and I also talked to Kak Rio Dewanto because he happens to be the youngest. So, we exchanged information about what it feels like to be the eldest and youngest child," she continued.

2. Memorable Moments in NKCTHI

There are many stories when Rachel Amanda played the role of the youngest child in this movie, but she also hopes that NKCTHI will receive positive responses from the audience. So far, she believes that NKCTHI has received quite good responses because she has seen many heartwarming moments during the special screening tour in 10 cities in Indonesia, where the audience shared their feelings after watching the film.

"The most memorable thing is how the film affects them (the audience). They DM me to tell me that they hugged their parents. Those who haven't seen their siblings for a long time suddenly called them. They mention and tag us on social media. They also review the film on Instagram and social media," said Rachel Amanda.
