In the first look of BEFORE THE DEVIL TAKES VERSE 2, Alfie can be seen standing in front of a burning house. Alfie experiences a series of dark terrors and even darker horror experiences in this 38-second video.
Alfie's (Chelsea Islan) struggle against demon terror will continue in BEFORE THE DEVIL TAKES AYAT 2. In this sequel, Alfie and her sister Nara (Hadijah Shahab) will face a terror that is no less terrifying than the first film. Filmmaker Timo Tjahjanto will still direct and write the screenplay for this film.
Apparently, the terror experienced by Alfie is not over yet. She still has to continue and survive a series of horror events.
"This time, the danger in BEFORE THE DEVIL TAKES AYAT 2 will be greater. We're not playing it safe here, meaning that there will be many victims falling into the devil's trap," said Timo in a press release received by KapanLagi.
This film is enlivened by several new characters played by Baskara Mahendra, Shareefa Danish, Karina Salim, Aurélie Moeremans, Arya Vasco, Lutesha, and Widika Sidmore. Their roles and characters will be announced further.
The figure of Shareefa Danish has made many horror lovers very enthusiastic. Previously, she has acted in several phenomenal horror films such as RUMAH DARA and DANUR.
This film itself is a production of Frontier Pictures, in collaboration with Legacy Pictures and Rapi Films, and is planned to start screening in cinemas throughout Indonesia from early 2020.
