1. Synopsis

ONE DAY WITH MOM tells the story of Dewa, a young man trapped in a time loop who must face the bitter reality of losing his mother. In his despair, Dewa repeatedly finds himself back on the day before his mother's departure, giving him a chance to correct past mistakes and mend their relationship.

Dewa, played by Chand Kelvin, is initially portrayed as a mischievous child, often lying, and unable to appreciate his mother, played by Vonny Anggraini. Suddenly, his mother passes away due to illness, and after her departure, Dewa, who was not close to his mother during her lifetime, is overwhelmed with deep guilt. However, a miracle occurs when he wakes up the next day to find himself back on the day before his mother's death. Feeling confused and in disbelief, Dewa begins to search for a way to escape this mysterious time loop.

In his journey, Dewa reunites with Putri, his childhood best friend played by Vebby Palwinta. Putri is a girl who is obedient to her parents, diligent, and has the ability to see the future. Putri realizes that Dewa is trapped in the time loop caused by past mistakes and tells him that the only way to get out of this situation is to improve himself and be devoted to his mother.

Dewa's struggle to become a better son is the core of the story presented in this film released in 2023. He began to work hard to stop lying and not hurt his mother's feelings. However, even though he felt he had tried his best, Dewa kept returning to the same day, which made him increasingly frustrated and desperate.
