Main Film Horor, Asmara Abigail Trapped for Nine Months in a Pregnant Condition

Asmara Abigail has just finished her latest horror film titled MANGKUJIWO. In this movie, Asmara Abigail portrays a female character named Kanti. Throughout her life, Kanti suffered a lot. Kanti had to be trapped for months. Of course, the character played by Asmara Abigail is not easy.

1. Play the Role of Kanti

"It's indeed difficult to portray Kanti because of the shooting situation. I mean, I have to be someone who feels like being imprisoned for months," said Asmara Abigail at Capital Place, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (14/1/2020).

"When being imprisoned while pregnant, like the situations that make her depressed, it's really difficult for me to get into the character," continued Asmara Abigail.

However, with the help of the MANGKUJIWO film team and sufficient preparation, Asmara Abigail finally succeeded in portraying the character of Kanti. "It's just because of the preparation and the assistance from the acting team, from friends who were also present on and off the set. I also had my own preparation," she said.

2. Asmara Abigail's Hope

MANGKUJIWO is a prequel to the horror films KUNTILANAK 1 (2018) and KUNTILANAK 2 (2019). Through the character of Kanti, portrayed by Asmara Abigail, she hopes that the result will satisfy the audience.

"So hopefully the Kanti that will be shown later on January 30th. Hopefully, it will yield good results," concluded Asmara Abigail.
