"This lyric section seems to express the uncertain feelings that someone faces when everything in their life is not going well," said Garin Nugroho in a virtual press conference on Sunday (14/11/2021).
There are at least 15 songs that adorn this film with the colors of Papua tradition, creative pop, and rap. These songs provide a unique atmosphere to strengthen the film SEPEDA PRESIDEN. In the same occasion, Ariel Tatum said that she gained many new experiences while being involved in Garin Nugroho's film SEPEDA PRESIDEN.
"At first, I read the story but I wasn't informed who the director was, then I was informed that it was Mas Garin," said Ariel Tatum.
"During filming, we were confused. Actually, there is a script, even a narration. But when filming, it's not the same as the narration," added Ariel Tatum.

Not only that, Ariel Tatum also had a very enjoyable experience while shooting the movie SEPEDA PRESIDEN in Papua. During the shooting location, Ariel felt happy to be able to play with the children of Papua.
"Alhamdulillah given smoothness during shooting and it was so much fun shooting with the children of Papua," she said.
The movie SEPEDA PRESIDEN is packaged as a family movie that invites the audience to sing and have fun together. This film combines the dreams of three Papua children to get a bicycle from the president. They then meet Binar (Ariel Tatum) who is taking a break from the noise of social media.
The meeting of the three friends with Binar becomes an exciting, funny, touching adventure, adorned with the beauty of the land of Papua and beautiful songs. This film stars Ariel Tatum, Sita Nursanti, Ian William, Joanita Idol, and native Papuan children. They are Arnold Asmuruf, Franken Ramandei, and Elias Pandawa. This film raises themes about love for children's world, music, and Indonesian culture.
