'OPEN BO LAGI: SEMAKIN PANAS SEMAKIN GANAS' to Air on June 1st, Darius Sinathrya Excited

Kapanlagi.com - The success of the web series OPEN BO has prompted Amadeus Sinemagna, the production house, to bring back the series with the title OPEN BO LAGI: SEMAKIN PANAS SEMAKIN GANAS. The series is scheduled to air on Vidio starting June 1, 2024.

Monty Tiwa continues to be the writer and director of this series, with a story that still touches on the reality of society today. It's a story about self-image for attention and the search for true love that seems impossible to find in the world of politics and the online sex industry.

"The common thread from season one is the plot of Soleh (Fajar Nugra), who now becomes the driving force behind the story of the new characters in season 2, Billy (Darius Sinathrya) and Gina (Naomi Zaskia)," he said when met in Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Thursday (May 30, 2024).

"Meanwhile, we also continue to portray the story of Jaka (Winky Wiryawan) and Ambar (Wulan Guritno), who are married, and Ambar's struggle to remain faithful to their marriage," added Monty Tiwa.

1. There are Comedy and Drama Elements

The comedy drama genre is still carried in OPEN BO AGAIN: GETTING HOTTER GETTING WILDER which is also packaged as a unique story, because it is rich in comedy elements, but strong from the drama side.

Darius himself admitted that he was very enthusiastic when offered to play in the series. That's why, during the shooting process, he took it very seriously so as not to disappoint the audience who had been waiting for the sequel to OPEN BO.

"I'm very excited because we've been shooting for about 6 months. So I happen to be one of the cast members who probably just watched it today, haven't had a chance to watch it at all, and curious about the results, how the excitement we tried to build on set matches the expectations or not," said Darius.

2. Hopefully Can Be as Crowded as the First

As a new player joining OPEN BO, Darius hopes that this series can repeat or gain even more attention than before.

"But hopefully, because there is a success story from the first OPEN BO, hopefully, OPEN BO LAGI will be eagerly awaited by vidio viewers and become an entertaining original series. And hopefully, it can be as sensational as open BO 1," Darius hopes.
