When visiting the KapanLagi Youniverse (KLY) office on Monday (14/8), the mother of two revealed her reasons for being involved in the film produced by IDN Picture.

"When I read the script, I read it twice to really understand the script," said Rachel Vennya.

"And this is my first film, so I really see it as a viewer. So in my opinion, I will watch this film. Even if I'm not in it, I will still like this film," added Rachel Vennya.

In this film, former wife Okin played the role of Nur, a woman who works as an online loan collector. According to her, the character of Nur that she played is very different from her real character.

"If the character is not really relatable to my life. But I understand those who face me, many things happen, even small things that lead us to the next problem," she said.

Then, in the same opportunity, Susanti Dewi, as the producer of SLEEP CALL, mentioned that this film brings a story that is close to everyday life. In fact, she believes that this film provides a fresh watch.

The film SLEEP CALL will start airing in cinemas from September 7th onwards. SLEEP CALL tells the story of Dina (Laura Basuki), who once shone as a flight attendant but is now trapped in the dark world of illegal online lending companies to pay off her haunting debt. In the midst of loneliness and the burden of debt, Dina finds a glimmer of light in the darkness through SLEEP CALL on a dating app.

However, the darkness begins to extinguish that spark of light when Dina gets entangled in an addictive relationship with Rama, a charming yet mysterious stranger she meets through the app. The more Dina gets involved, the more she realizes that her love for Rama only leads her life into a complicated situation. And when things spiral out of control, lives are lost and mysteries are left behind.
