Rebecca Klopper greets her fans again through her latest romantic drama film, AHLAN SINGAPORE. In this film, the 24-year-old woman plays the character Aisyah, an Indonesian student studying in Singapore. This role requires Rebecca to undergo a significant transformation from her daily life.

One of the biggest challenges Rebecca faces is having to change her appearance and speaking style. She is required to wear a hijab and alter her voice intonation to sound more mature, in line with the character Aisyah, who is portrayed as having maturity due to past trauma.

"There are definitely challenges. All the characters are different from our daily lives, so maybe the difficulty is in wearing the hijab, and I also have to slightly age my voice. It's a habit that's hard to change," said Rebecca Klopper to the media crew.

Although facing difficulties in character immersion, Rebecca admitted that she really enjoyed the shooting process that took place in the Lion City. There is one thing that made her comfortable and always excited while on set, which is the tantalizing Singaporean cuisine.

"During the shooting process, the thing I enjoyed the most was... the food! Because while we were shooting in Singapore, the food was always different and everything was really delicious," she said with a beaming face.

In this film produced by MD Pictures, Rebecca stars alongside Kiesha Alvaro and Ibrahim Risyad. The film AHLAN SINGAPORE tells a complicated love triangle story, where Aisyah must choose between Liam (Kiesha Alvaro), the senior who gives her new comfort, or Risyad (Ibrahim Risyad), the childhood friend who loves her in silence.

When asked if Aisyah's love story resembles her personal life, Rebecca gave a humorous answer. She admitted that she has never experienced a love triangle and even opened up a position for anyone interested in approaching her.

"Wow! My love story is not like that, I don't have much experience yet, so I've never been in a love triangle. If anyone is interested, just DM me!" she joked, eliciting laughter from the reporters.

The film AHLAN SINGAPORE will start screening in theaters on February 6, 2025.
