Seto Mulyadi, Chairman of LPAI, welcomes this initiative enthusiastically. He emphasizes that children have the basic right to grow and develop, and this requires stimulation, not only in the form of formal education, but also through songs and films.
"As the chairman of LPAI, I highly appreciate this. We must fulfill the rights of children, the fundamental rights of children to grow and develop," said Seto Mulyadi in the Fatmawati area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (27/9/2023).
"There must be stimulation in the form of education, not only formal but also informal through songs and films," added Seto Mulyadi.

Melia Lustojoputro, CEO and founder of Bintang Kecil, explained that this family musical drama film will incorporate elements of Indonesian culture in an interesting and entertaining way for children. The goal is to reintroduce children's songs and Indonesian culture to the younger generation.
"We want to reintroduce children's songs and culture to children. In this film, we are also introduced to various Indonesian cultures, but in a non-preachy manner and suitable for Indonesian children," said Melia.

Vincent Mancahaya, Executive Producer and Executive Officer of Connection Films, revealed that although he cannot provide many details about this film yet, production will begin in December 2024. This film will be a feature-length work that embraces the theme of family drama and will present captivating children's songs.
"As for the story, I can only say that it will be a feature-length family drama film. There will also be children's songs," said Vincent.

Interestingly, Vincent and Melia invite the entire community to participate in the casting process of this family musical drama film. The online audition will be held, and those who pass will continue the offline selection process on October 13-15, 2023. They hope to find outstanding young talents in the Indonesian film industry.
"For anyone in Indonesia who can act, dance, or anything in the Indonesian film industry, please participate in this casting. We hope to find excellent talents," Vincent concluded.
