Shooting at Tourist Destinations, Haico Van Der Veken's Film 'NONA MANIS SAYANGE' Wants to Share the Beauty of Labuan Bajo

Kapanlagi.com - NONA MANIS SAYANGE is a comeback opportunity for Haico Van Der Veken in the film industry. As known, after making her debut in 2019, she immediately got busy with soap opera projects.

One of the reasons Haico got involved in this film directed by Hestu Saputra is because it was filmed in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara. Not only does it bring the local culture, but she also gets to learn new things.

"Why did I want to be in this film? Because it brings the culture of Labuan Bajo. It's a challenge for me to become a Bajo person. I learned their accent with the help of the locals, and I also learned their customs," said Haico recently.

NONA MANIS SAYANGE not only presents the love story of Sika and Akram played by Haico Van Der Veken and Pangeran Lantang. But also showcases the beautiful scenery of the chosen tourist destinations as shooting locations.

Several tourist destinations were used as shooting locations. For example, Bukti Padar, the highest peak in Labuan Bajo, the pink sandy beach Pink Beach, and Loccal Collection, which went viral because it is called the Santorini of Indonesia.

Producer Miranda Putri said that the deliberate choice of the above location as a shooting location is because she also wants to showcase the beauty of Labuan Bajo to make it more well-known.

"Labuan Bajo has extraordinary natural beauty. As a producer, I certainly want to share this beauty with the audience," said Miranda in a separate occasion.
