MENDUA is a series adapted from the English series DOCTOR FOSTER which was previously also adapted into the popular Korean drama THE WORLD OF THE MARRIED.

The series MENDUA is directed by Pritagita Arianegara, who previously received nominations for the Citra Award for Best Director and the Iqbal Rais Award for First Feature Film Direction.

MENDUA tells the story of a successful doctor who is the backbone of her family and lives in an elite area in Jakarta named Sekar M. Atmajaya (Adinia Wirasti).

Doctor Sekar has a handsome husband named Ivan (Chicco Jerikho) and a son named Dennis.

Sekar's life is perfect to the point of making many people jealous. But it all falls apart when Sekar finds out that her husband is having an affair.

Ivan is having an affair with a beautiful woman who is much younger than Sekar, named Bella (Tatjana Saphira).
