TELUH DARAH is the latest thriller horror series by director Kimo Stamboel that will soon air on Disney+ Hotstar. Previously, TELUH DARAH was first screened in the On Screen category at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) 2022, and became the sole representative series from Southeast Asia.
Featuring black magic terror attacks, TELUH DARAH stars Deva Mahenra and Mikha Tambayong as the main cast. Let's take a look at the full synopsis below!
Tells the story of a woman named Wulan who has to witness her entire family being attacked by black magic or witchcraft.
The story begins when Wulan is proposed by her lover named Reno in front of her entire family and closest relatives.
But as their wedding day approaches, Wulan decides to end her relationship with Reno because of something.
Reno refuses and tries to continue pursuing Wulan. Until Wulan feels uncomfortable and scared of Reno's persistent and stalking behavior.
Not long after Wulan ends her relationship with Reno, strange things happen beyond reason. Like Wulan finding a nail mixed with blood in her bathroom sink.
Not only that, her whole family also experienced the attacks every day. Even her younger sibling and mother were attacked by centipedes and various insects.
Wulan's father also had to experience the same thing and the attacks became worse. Suddenly, insects flew out of his mouth and filled the room.
Aware of this strangeness, Wulan didn't stay silent. She tried to find the cause and who was cruel enough to attack her whole family with black magic.
