First, Luna Maya participated in the film SUZZANNA: BERNAPAS DALAM KUBUR (2018) which garnered around 3 million viewers.
Next, SUZZANNA: MALAM JUMAT KLIWON (2023) reached over 2 million viewers. Now, SUZZANNA: SANTET DOSA DI ATAS DOSA is ready to greet the audience.

This significant change is due to the latest film adapting the legendary work of Suzzanna titled Santet Ratu Ilmu Hitam, which indeed has a different storyline. In the original version, Suzzanna also does not transform into a restless spirit.
Instead of presenting a revenge story from the spirit world, this film will focus on the power struggles among humans, filled with intrigue, emotion, and cunning tactics.
According to Luna, this story feels more realistic and relatable for today's audience.
