Another Indonesian horror film released in April 2019. Today, Thursday (18/4/2019), the film POCONG: THE ORIGIN was officially released. The actors and crew involved in the making of the film were seen attending the launch event held at Mal BTM, Bogor City.
Wearing similar shirts, the actors looked very happy attending the event. From Samuel Rizal, Ananta Rispo, Nadya Arina, to Della Dartyan, they were present at the release event.
Nadya Arina plays Sasthi, Ananta's daughter, a prisoner sentenced to death for committing multiple murders. She is tasked with taking her father's body to his hometown for burial.
Della Dartyan plays a journalist who uncovers information about Ananta's life, which is said to involve black magic.
In this film, Samuel Rizal plays the role of a prison guard who escorts the corpse of one of the executed prisoners back to his hometown.
