The celebrity couple who always attracts attention, Angga Yunanda and Shenina Cinnamon, are finally brought together in one film project as the main cast. Not holding back, both are immediately cast as a husband and wife in the latest film titled DOPAMIN directed by Teddy Soeriaatmadja.

In this production by Starvision and Kharisma Pictures, Angga plays the character Malik, while Shenina plays his wife, Alya. Paired as husband and wife for the first time on the big screen, both admitted to feeling a bit shocked at the beginning.

"Of course it's surprising, because this is the first time we are acting in a movie together as leads, I would say," said Angga Yunanda at XXI Metropole, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (14/10/2025).

Nevertheless, that surprise quickly turned into enthusiasm. For Angga and Shenina, this project became a very exciting and challenging experience. Their status as a couple in real life actually made it easier for them in the process of character immersion.

"It's fun, yes. At first, we definitely had to adapt, but as time went on, all the discussions about the film always connected us to each other," said Shenina Cinnamon.

According to Shenina, the biggest advantage of acting alongside one’s partner is the flexibility of time for discussions. They can talk about the script and characters anytime, even outside of working hours, which greatly helps their creative process.

"Moreover, we can talk about the movie anytime, since we often hang out together. So it makes it easier for us to get into the characters," he explained.

Angga responded to his girlfriend's statement jokingly, emphasizing that they are ready to discuss work all day long. This shows how committed both of them are to delivering the best in the upcoming film Dopamin.

"Twenty-four hours if we want to talk about the movie, we can. Let's go (ayo) like that," Angga concluded.
