The movie PINOCCHIO tells the story of an old man named Geppetto who is lonely because he lives alone. Geppetto is also a skilled woodcarver. One day, he carves a wooden statue of a little boy, and then a fairy who comes to Mr. Geppetto's house turns the statue into a real human with her magic.

The statue, as a result of the fairy's magic, is named Pinocchio by Geppetto. From that day on, Geppetto feels happy with Pinocchio's presence and no longer feels lonely.

As time goes by, problems arise for both Pinocchio and Geppetto. Pinocchio is kidnapped by a circus owner who then makes him a slave for the circus and is known as the talking puppet.
