Stan Lee's Death
Fans are still mourning the loss of Stan Lee. Nevertheless, his creations will still live in the hearts of fans. Besides the main characters, Lee also created several supporting characters who -although less known- play important roles in supporting the main characters.

Inhumans. First appearing in 1965, this group of superhumans actually caught attention when they appeared alongside the Fantastic Four. Inhumans had their own series, but unfortunately, the series received a poor response.
Stan Lee introduced She-Hulk in 1980. Unfortunately, Lee only wrote one series for She-Hulk comics.
Before joining Guardians of the Galaxy, Groot appeared in Tales of Astonish series 13 in 1960. After that, Lee didn't write about Groot again, until he finally appeared as a member of GOTG.
Peggy Carter has a small role in both the comics and films (although she did have her own television series). It could be argued that her character could be further developed, considering she is the love interest of Captain America.
The first Captain Marvel, Mar-Vell, apparently does not have a long 'life' in the comics created by Stan Lee and Gene Colan. This is because the role of Captain Marvel always changes characters. Captain Marvel is a Kree military personnel assigned to oversee Earth, but instead defects and defends Earth.
Before Fantastic Four, before Marvel Comics existed, Mystic Comics introduced the character The Destroyer. This character was one of Stan Lee's early creations. Despite helping Lee gain a reputation as a writer, The Destroyer was overshadowed by other superheroes.
Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos, which first appeared in 1963, marked the introduction of the character Nick Fury. Unfortunately, Howling Commandos didn't have the same luck as Fury and its popularity was surpassed by other characters.
Spider-Man has become a widely known character worldwide, but what about Mary Jane? In some ways, Mary Jane 'loses the spotlight' to Peter Parker's charm as Spider-Man, even though she plays an important role as Peter's love interest.
