This genre of film is a combination of romantic and comedy genres, with a storyline that rarely bores the audience. Not only filled with romantic scenes, rom-com films often also make the audience laugh out loud due to the hilarious scenes in the storyline.

According to Collider, Hollywood rom-com films released in the 2000s have their own uniqueness that becomes their characteristic. Andie will try hard to make Ben break up with her, while Ben will do various ways to make Andie fall in love with him. In the midst of their conflicting mission, the seeds of love emerge between them without realizing it.
