Complete List of Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4 Films and Series, From 'BLACK WIDOW' to 'MOONKNIGHT'

Kapanlagi.com - SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME officially ended the third phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Fans had to say goodbye to many of their beloved superheroes, from Vision, Black Widow, Captain America, to Iron-Man who sacrificed his life to save humanity.

The end of phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe marks the beginning of Marvel Studio introducing new superheroes. Phase 4 will be filled with many cool superheroes who have never appeared on the big screen. Not only that, Marvel is also expanding into the streaming platform, broadening their reach to introduce more of their cool superheroes. Who are they? Find out everything here!

 Feature Films

1.BLACK WIDOW

Finally, a solo film for the beloved female superhero is realized. Scarlett Johansson will continue to portray the character of Black Widow. The film that will be released on May 7, 2021 will tell the past of Black Widow, her journey of living as an assassin and spy. The story of this film will take place after the events of CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR and before AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR.

2.SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS

Scheduled to be released on June 9, 2021, this first Asian Marvel superhero will be played by Simu Liu. Dubbed as the Master of Kung-Fu, Shang-Chi will face his past and deal with the Ten Rings organization. Not alone, Simu Liu will be accompanied by Awkwafina as Katy, and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan.

3.ETERNALS

Telling the story of the Eternals race sent to Earth by the Celestials race, who are tasked with protecting humanity from the attacks of the Deviants race. This film will be starred by many famous Hollywood actors, starting from Richard Madden, Brian Tyree Henry, to Angelina Jolie. This film is scheduled to be released on November 5, 2021.

4.SPIDER-MAN 3

Missed seeing Tom Holland as Spider-Man? Don't worry, Marvel Studios has confirmed that SPIDER-MAN 3 will be released on December 17, 2021. There is no official statement regarding the title or storyline of this third film featuring Tom Holland yet, but it is expected to bring back beloved characters that will leave many fans in disbelief.

5.THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER

The first Marvel film to have 4 solo films. THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER will still feature Chris Hemsworth as Thor, reintroducing Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, and introducing Christian Bale as Gorr The God Butcher. Taika Waititi previously stated that the film will be inspired by the comic MIGHTY THOR where Jane Foster becomes Thor, replacing the original Thor as he is deemed unworthy. This film will be released on May 6, 2022.

6.DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS

Scheduled to be released on March 25, 2022, this film will continue the story of DOCTOR STRANGE. At the end of that film, Baron Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) travels the world to take the mystical powers of sorcerers like Doctor Strange because he feels betrayed by magic. Later Benedict Cumberbatch will be accompanied by Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlett Witch, and Benedict Wong as Wong.

7.BLACK PANTHER 2

Through Disney's Investor Day, Kevin Fiege as President of Marvel Studios said that they will not replace Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther. Instead, BLACK PANTHER 2 will tell the story of other characters from the previous film. It is not yet known who will be cast in this film, as well as the storyline and release date.

8.CAPTAIN MARVEL 2

Not much is known, but the continuation of Marvel's strongest female superhero film will be released on November 11, 2022. There are no leaked storylines, but Brie Larsson is expected to remain as Carol Danvers, along with Iman Vellani as Ms Marvel.

9.ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA

This film will only start shooting in 2021 and is targeted to be released in 2022. Paul Rudd will still portray Scott Lang or Ant-Man, Evangeline Lily as Hope Van Dyne or Wasp, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Michelle Pffeifer as Janet Van Dyne, and the addition of Kathryn Newton as adult Cassie Lang.

10. GUARDIAN OF THE GALAXY 3

It was chaotic due to James Gunn's firing, but now GUARDIAN OF THE GALAXY 3 will still be made.James Gunn has rejoined after previously being expelled by Marvel Studio due to his controversial tweets.However, this film will not start shooting because James Gunn is currently working on THE SUICIDE SQUAD until 2021.Disney and Marvel Studio are targeting this film to be released in 2023.

11.BLADE

After more than a decade, Blade has finally joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe.This Vampire Hunter will be played by Mahershala Ali as Blade.There is no more information about this film. However, fans are already happy to hear that Blade is joining the MCU.

12.FANTASTIC FOUR

The most anticipated finally comes true. After several failed attempts to bring it to the big screen, now it's Marvel Studio's turn to bring FANTASTIC FOUR to the big screen. Not only that, the first character created by Stan Lee in his comic will join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is not yet known who will star in this film, but like Blade, fans are very happy with the joining of Marvel's first family.

TV Series - DISNEY PLUS

1.THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER

This TV series will tell the story of the new Captain America, Sam Wilson, who works together with Bucky Barnes or The Winter Soldier. Marvel explains that this series will explore the extent of their powers and friendship. Filming throughout 2020, this series is scheduled to air on March 19, 2021 through Disney Plus.

2.WANDAVISION

Due to the pandemic, the series depicting the relationship between Scarlett Witch and Vision has been rescheduled to January 15, 2021. It is not yet known how, but in the trailer, Vision, who previously died in the film AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR, is now alive and married to Scarlett Witch (Elizabeth Olsen). This TV series is expected to be the beginning of Phase 4 of the MCU and is the most anticipated series by fans.

3.LOKI

Who doesn't love Loki? The character played by Tom Hiddleston will tell the story of Loki's journey after the film AVENGERS: ENDGAME. Set in the time after AVENGERS: ENDGAME, Tom Hiddleston promises that this series will answer fans' questions about how Loki can be alive after being killed by Thanos. This series is planned to air in May 2021.

4. WHAT IF

Marvel animated series. That is the first word that comes to mind for fans. Although it's animated, this animated series will be voiced by actors from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The series is planned to be aired in 2021.

5.HAWKEYE

Finally, this Avengers superhero gets his own show. It is estimated to be aired in October 2021, and Hawkeye will still be played by Jeremy Renner. However, there is no further information regarding other actors or the storyline.

6.MS MARVEL

This Muslim superhero from Marvel comics will become the first Muslim superhero to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Played by Iman Vellani, Ms Marvel will air at the end of 2021. Ms Marvel is also planned to appear in the movie CAPTAIN MARVEL 2.

7.SHE-HULK

So far, fans only know the official logo of this TV series and one of the actors in the film. Tatiana Maslany will play Jennifer Walters. The airing schedule of this TV series is not yet known.

8.MOONKNIGHT

Similar to Batman, Moon Knight is a former CIA agent saved by the Moon God Konshu. Like SHE-HULK, this series does not yet have further information known to its fans.
