Marvel Announces Cast of ‘AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY’, X-Men Officially Join!

Kapanlagi.com - On Wednesday, March 26, Marvel announced the cast of AVENGERS DOOMSDAY which consists of 27 cast members from various other Marvel films. AVENGERS DOOMSDAY was first announced at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2024 and surprised the public with the return of Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, after retiring from his role as Iron Man in AVENGERS: ENDGAME.

This 38th MCU film will bring together all heroes from their various main films, such as the Avengers, X-Men, and several new characters appearing in MCU phases 4 and 5, such as FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS which will premiere on July 25 and THUNDERBOLTS on May 2. Despite undergoing many changes and developments in the storyline, Marvel fans are still looking forward to the gathering of their favorite heroes to defeat the enemy.

Some returning cast members include Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Letitia Wright as Shuri, Winston Duke as M’Baku. Among all the names that appear, the public is starting to question the absence of several important characters from the original Avengers, such as Tom Holland as Spiderman, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Elisabeth Olson as Scarlet Witch/Wanda, Benedict Wong as Wong, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, as well as the actors of DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.

These characters play important roles in the Avengers, so it feels incomplete if they are not included in the continuation of this Avengers film. However, some believe that Marvel does not want to reveal the entire cast list because they want to create a surprise as they usually do in their films.
