Netflix released an action genre movie from South Korea called BALLERINA. The film was released on October 6, 2023 on Netflix. Directed by Lee Chung Hyeon and Jeon Jong Seo, both of whom previously collaborated on the film THE CALL in 2020. The thriller mystery genre film managed to attract a lot of viewers because of its unpredictable storyline.
Starring Jeon Jong Seo as the main character Ok Ju, Kim Ji Hoon as Choi, and Park Yu Rim as Min Hee. Through this film, Jeon Jong Seo is reunited with Kim Ji Hoon, who is his co-star in the film MONEY HEIST KOREA. There is no doubt about their acting abilities in this action film.

After years of being apart, Ok Ju (Jong Seo) reunites with Min Hee (Yu Rim). Min Hee is a professional ballerina who also works part-time at a bakery. Ok Ju works to buy herself a birthday cake. She is going through a tough time and taking a break from her high-pressure job as a personal bodyguard for a VIP client. After reconnecting with Min Hee, who has a bright personality, they immediately become friends again. Their relationship grows stronger as Min Hee becomes a light for Ok Ju. Until Ok Ju discovers Min Hee's body.
Min Hee commits suicide and leaves a note containing clues as to why she did such a thing, along with a request for Ok Ju to seek revenge. Utilizing her investigative skills and defense, grieving Ok Ju begins to track down someone she can trust, Choi (Ji Hoon). In order to avenge Min Hee's death, Ok Ju must face the dangerous world of drugs and cruel crimes alone. Of course, she is a professional with experience, but now she works alone and faces heavy obstacles. Can she avenge Min Hee's death and survive?
