GUY RITCHIE'S THE COVENANT or simply known as THE COVENANT is an action-thriller film written and directed by Guy Ritchie. He is a renowned director from the United Kingdom who has been actively working since 1995. The plot of this film tells the story of a former member of the United States military for special operations (United States Army Special Operations Command) and a veteran of the Afghanistan war named John Kinley who decides to return to Afghanistan to help an interpreter who once saved his life.

Tells the story of a sergeant named John Kinley who carries out his final mission in Afghanistan. In carrying out his mission, John is assisted by a local translator named Ahmed. One time, a battle occurs between the military unit and the Taliban. The Taliban wins the battle. As a result of the battle, John is seriously injured and Ahmed saves him. 

After some time, John returns to the United States and continues his life. Until one day, John hears news that Ahmed is targeted by the Taliban and lives in fear, so John feels he must help Ahmed because he feels indebted to him. However, the United States government does not allow John to return there. Instead of obeying the government's decision, John chooses to go to Afghanistan alone as a civilian with minimal weapons.  

So, is John able to save Ahmed and his family? THE COVENANT can still be watched by KLovers at several nearby cinemas!
