MECHANIC: RESURRECTION tells the story of Arthur Bishop, a former elite hitman who has faked his own death and is living a peaceful life in Rio de Janeiro. When his girlfriend, Gina Thornton, is kidnapped by Riah Crain—his former childhood friend and old enemy—Bishop is forced back into the dark world he left behind.

Crain forces him to complete three assassination missions, each of which must look like an accident. His journey takes him to a prison in Malaysia, a skyscraper in Sydney, and a weapons fortress in Bulgaria. Under time pressure and the threat of death, Bishop must use his skills and strategy to save Gina and stop Crain.
