Synopsis of the Film THE CONJURING 3: THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT, Based on a True Story of Murder Due to Demonic Possession

CONJURING 3: THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT is based on a court case known by the same name. The story takes place on November 24, 1981, in Brookfield, Connecticut, where Arne Cheyenne Johnson was tried for first-degree murder in the death of a landlord named Alan Bono. The case became famous because it involved, for the first time, the element of "demonic possession" in a murder trial. Warning: Some images in this photo news may be disturbing to readers. It all started with the Johnson family (Ruairi O'Connor) moving to a new house. Instead of finding happiness, they encountered strange occurrences. Arne's brother-in-law, David, became the target of an evil spirit from the first day they moved into the house.

The evil ghost that possessed David caused him physical suffering.

Seeing his brother-in-law suffering like this, Arne chose to challenge the spirit. He asked the evil spirit to possess his body instead of David's.David was able to escape from the grip of the evil spirit. However...

Since the process of expelling the evil spirit from David's body, Arne has been haunted by the same evil spirit.

From day to day, Arne's condition becomes more terrifying. Until finally, he kills his own friend. Arne doesn't even know what he has done. 

Ed (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine (Vera Farmiga) are dragged into this murder case and possession by this demon. There are many mysteries surrounding it. 

The evil spirit that is possessing Arne has the power to harm humans. Ed and Lorraine risk their lives to save Arne. 

The more Ed and Lorraine investigate, the greater the danger that threatens them. 

The problem becomes more complicated because Ed and Lorraine are also racing against time before Arne is sentenced to death by the court.
