THE DESCENT (2005 | IMDb 7.2)  This film tells the story of a group of women who embark on an expedition to explore an uncharted cave. Led by Juno (played by Natalie Mendoza), they become trapped after the exit collapses. As they try to find a way out, they realize that the cave is inhabited by ferocious humanoid creatures that hunt in the darkness. This film will explore their struggle to survive against the darkness of the cave and the threat of the vicious creatures that haunt them.  

THE HILLS HAVE EYES (2006 | IMDb 6.4)   This film tells the story of a family traveling through the desert in the United States. During their journey, their car breaks down in a remote area that is inhabited by a group of cannibal mutants. The family must then fight to survive against the attacks of these mutants.  

EDEN LAKE (2008 | IMDb 6.7)  This film tells the story of a young couple, Steve (played by Michael Fassbender) and Jenny (Kelly Reilly), who travel to a remote lake for a romantic holiday. However, their tranquility is soon disrupted by a group of aggressive teenagers. Tensions rise when the teenagers begin stealing their belongings and vandalizing their car, even deliberately putting Steve and Jenny in dangerous situations. What was supposed to be a fun holiday turns into a fight for survival.

They decide to visit a remote archaeological dig site in the Mexican jungle, but soon find themselves trapped in a brutal struggle for survival against an evil force hidden within the ruins. The film offers natural horror as well as archaeological mystery that adds tension and a chilling atmosphere throughout the story.

A PERFECT GETAWAY (2009 | IMDb 6.5)  This film tells the story of newlyweds, Cliff (played by Steve Zahn) and Cydney (Milla Jovovich), who go on vacation to Hawaii for their honeymoon. While hiking to a secluded beach, they hear news about a pair of serial killers roaming the island. Tension rises as they begin to suspect that one of the couples they meet might be the killers.  

EVIL DEAD (2013 | IMDb 6.5)  EVIL DEAD is a remake of the classic horror film from 1981. The film tells the story of five people who go to a remote cabin in the woods. They discover a book of the dead and accidentally awaken an evil entity that resides in the surrounding forest. One by one, they become possessed, and they must fight to survive until only one is left to confront the evil forces.  

MIDSOMMAR (2019 | IMDb 7.1)  This is a psychological horror film directed by Ari Aster, focusing on Dani (Florence Pugh), a woman who has just lost her family. Together with her boyfriend, Christian (Jack Reynor), and their friends, they go to Sweden to attend a midsummer festival in a remote village. However, the seemingly peaceful festival quickly turns into a nightmare when they discover that the villagers are part of a pagan cult that performs horrific rituals.

TRIANGLE (2009 | IMDb 6.9)  This film tells the story of Jess (played by Melissa George), a single mother, who goes sailing with some friends. When their boat capsizes in a mysterious storm, they are rescued by another ship that appears to be empty. However, they soon realize that they are trapped in a horrifying time loop, where terrifying events keep repeating. This film combines the concept of time loop with psychological tension, full of mystery, and confusing twists.
